The “Fentress Fantasy Program” at Signature HealthCARE of Fentress County was designed to make the fantasies of our elders come true, allowing them to do all the things they would have been able to do before declining health brought them to us. It is our fantasy to give the elders in our care true qaulity of life.
On April 4th elder Lee Mathew’s fantasy came true when he attended Slam Fest 2015! Lee is an avid wrestling fan. When he expressed his desire to see a live wrestling match, Chaplain Ed Walker and Kelsey Hackett, Activities Director, went to work to make Lee’s fantasy happen! Lee had not attended a live wrestling event in over 20 years and thought he would never be able to again. “Lee enjoyed every minute of the action and is ready to go again even commenting he would love to wrestle at the next match!” said Kelsey Hackett.
“Living life and living it with meaning is our goal. We are here to not only to care for the physical and spiritual needs of our elders, but to meet their desires as well. If it’s possible were going to make it happen!” said Darian Goodman, CEO of SHC of Fentress County.
