M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E!
Elders and stakeholders recently were inducted into Fentress County’s very own Mickey Mouse Club. They were awarded with a certificate of membership and their own Mickey ears! After the induction ceremony, elders enjoyed watching clips of the original mickey mouse club, and reminiscing about coming home after school to watch it on TV. They knew the theme song and sang along! Each month, new members consisting of elders, stakeholders, and volunteers will be inducted. We will even have a Mickey Mouse Club reunion in November. This is a fun way to include everyone in our preparations for our elder vacation in November to Disney World, and to reminisce about the good ole days.
